Whew!

September 2

It's FRIDAY!

And it's only 9:30, but I'll make my first post for today.  I have already achieved something.

I took my kids to school.

That may not look like much, but let's break it down.

5:15 AM.  Wake up, say family prayers.
5:30 - take oldest to seminary
Come home, go back to sleep for 45 minutes - have a dream where your husband has just messed up all your new furniture arrangement because he doesn't like it and allowed your son to to fill the room with giant little people toys and Lego installations.
6:30 - wake up, shake off the dream, kiss Mr. C good-bye, help Lou get ready and out the door to an early strings rehearsal.  Wake up the S-Train and Sue.  Sue has picture day.
7:02 - Panic on the way there because the form for instrument rental that you purposely left on top of the stack of papers between the seats seems to have disappeared. Find the form at the last second and hand it to Lou with a check and instructions to give it to her teacher and NOT lose it!  Drop Lou off.
7:15 - get a call from Lou - she needs a permission form signed to ride the bus from rehearsal to her school.  She needs you to come back.
7:17 - call from neighbor wanting to carpool. No problem.
7:30 - back at strings rehearsal site signing permission form in front of the whole strings group. Gotta love it when the teacher calls, "Come on up and sign it." to you from across the gym.  No better way to embarrass your child.
7:45 - ironing shirt for picture day
7:59 - leaving for elementary school with neighbor too. Drop off S-Train and friend.
8:15 - straightening hair for picture day.  Get message that oldest needs extra entertainment books taken to school to turn in.
8:25 - dropping off Sue at middle school
8:40 - dropping off entertainment books at high school
Looking around the car and thinking back to the house.  Is that everyone?  Are we done?
9:00 - getting gas and a sugar free Slurpee.
9:20 - reading blogs and posting. Wondering if I will get another call any minute now. . .

Which leads me to the title for this post!
