Had breakfast with the sweetest writing friends ever. D can't come to our group as much any more - so - we went to breakfast. First Watch is awesome. It made me happy that it was close by and I was the one with the least travel. That happens every so often.
It stunk that even though it was close, I was 10 minutes late. How does that happen? I'll tell you. It happens when you are all on track to leave and a child all of a sudden can't find the shin guards that are supposed to be on their shins (and has to use their sister's that cover their knees) and your keys get up and walk away from their normal home. Blech. It's chronic.
I was sad to miss the S-Train's first game!!!! :( The night before Mr. C. let me know he needed to be a scout leader at a merit badge day and couldn't go to the game either. We have a great coach who brought the S-Train home.
Then I hit the girls' game.
Then an afternoon of craziness. (Including getting curtain rods up for the oldest.) And a much needed stay-at-home "date."
The day was packed with taking care of kids and home and generally being a family. That is a good thing to have done with my day.
